Our instructors are passionate about Jiu-Jitsu and have dedicated themselves to the art. They continue to train under Professor Jorge Britto at Toronto BJJ, who is a 3rd Degree Black Belt under Vini Aieta (Gracie Tijuca) / Royler Gracie / Saulo Ribeiro as well as the co-founder of Jiu-Jitsu For Life team.

Kelvin Bezerra
Kelvin Bezerra was born in Recife and raised in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. He began training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2012 and quickly developed a passion for the art that would shape his life and career. Now a black belt under Professor Jorge Britto of Toronto BJJ, Kelvin brings over a decade of teaching experience to the mats. He has competed extensively, earning medals across multiple divisions, and continues to stay active in training and competition. Beyond competing, Kelvin has contributed to the growth of Jiu-Jitsu in Canada through his involvement in organizing major events such as NextGen BJJ, IBJJF, and ADCC tournaments. As the founder and head instructor of Cambridge BJJ, one of the leading academies in Cambridge, Ontario. Kelvin has built a strong and growing community, helping hundreds of students develop confidence, discipline, and resilience through Jiu-Jitsu. His journey hasn’t been without challenges. After undergoing hip replacement surgery, Kelvin returned to training and continues to lead from the front, a reflection of the mindset he teaches every day: consistency, discipline, and the refusal to quit.
Nadisson Rossi
Nadisson Rossi was born and raised in Colatina, Espírito Santo, Brazil. He began his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu journey in 2013 and has developed himself as both a dedicated competitor and experienced coach. He is a black belt under Professor Jorge Britto of Toronto BJJ and brings over 8 years of teaching experience. Nadisson has competed in tournaments across the Greater Toronto Area, consistently demonstrating his technical skills and commitment to the sport. Alongside Kelvin Bezerra, Nadisson is actively involved in the growth of Jiu-Jitsu in Canada, contributing to the organization and execution of major events such as NextGen BJJ, IBJJF, and ADCC tournaments. As a certified Jiu-Jitsu For Life Team instructor, Nadisson is known for his attention to detail and patient, structured teaching style. He plays a key role in helping students build strong fundamentals, gain confidence, and progress step by step in their training.

Aubrey Formica
Aubrey Formica was born and raised in Cambridge, Ontario, and is a dedicated Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner and instructor. She currently holds the rank of purple belt and has quickly established herself as both a competitor and a leader on the mats. Aubrey brings a strong competitive background to her coaching, highlighted by becoming a Master World Champion in 2025, a reflection of her discipline, focus, and commitment to continuous improvement. As a certified Jiu-Jitsu For Life Team instructor, Aubrey plays an important role at Cambridge BJJ, coaching kids classes, movement-based programs, and leading the women’s-only program. Known for her positive energy and supportive coaching style, Aubrey creates an environment where students feel comfortable learning, building confidence, and pushing past their limits. She is especially passionate about helping beginners and women take their first steps in Jiu-Jitsu in a safe and encouraging space.
